I bought this pair of earrings in Stonetown, Zanzibar during the Sauti za Busara music festival. With the swirls of metal, they seemed like the perfect representation of Stonetown, with its intricately carved doorways and vibrant history. They are also black with steel accents, which, aside from neon yellow, is my favorite color to wear, as it easily accents almost every outfit.
